What is this Challenge?
To complete this challenge, you need to do a few specific tasks. This challenge is based on 5 main tasks.

Be born a female in France
To complete the “Be born a female in France” task in the Paint It Black Challenge in BitLife, you need to start a new life where your character is born as a female and in the country France. The quickest method is to use the Custom Life option, where you can manually set the gender to female and the birth country to France.
If you prefer not to customize, you can keep generating random lives until BitLife gives you a female character from France by chance. Once your character is born with these two conditions, the task will automatically be marked as completed in the challenge.
Become a painter
To complete the “Become a Painter” task in the Paint It Black Challenge in BitLife, you need to start by aging your character until she finishes school and turns 18. Once she is an adult, go to Occupation → Jobs → Full-Time Jobs and look for the Painter career.
The job doesn’t always appear immediately, so you may need to age up or refresh the job list until it shows. When the Painter job appears, apply for it, pass the interview, and get hired. As soon as your character starts working as a Painter, the task will be marked as completed in the challenge.
Become a painter
To complete the “Have a pet turtle named François” task in BitLife, you must adopt a turtle and rename it François. Start by visiting the Pets tab under Activities → Pet Store and check if a turtle is available. If you don’t see one, age up or refresh the pet store until a turtle appears for adoption.
Once you adopt the turtle, open its profile and select the option to rename it. Type “François” exactly, with the correct spelling, to complete the requirement. After the turtle is officially named François and added to your pets list, the task will be marked as completed in the challenge.

Tap it once to trigger the argument. If the option doesn’t appear right away, age up or improve access to the relationship list—you may need to ensure your father is still alive and visible in your relationship menu. As soon as you successfully argue with him, the task will be completed for the challenge.
Mourn the death of your brother
To complete the “Mourn the death of your brother” task in the Paint It Black Challenge, you must wait until your brother passes away naturally or through an unexpected event in the game. Once he dies, BitLife will give you a notification about his death, and you’ll see an option to Mourn on the death pop-up. Simply tap Mourn when the event appears to complete the task.
If you don’t get the option immediately, make sure you age carefully and keep your family relationships intact. You cannot trigger or force his death directly—BitLife must generate it on its own. As soon as you mourn your brother in the death event, the task will be marked as completed.
