By completing these smart, study-heavy objectives, you’ll finish the challenge and unlock a special BitLife reward.
What is this Challenge?
To complete this challenge, you need to do a few specific tasks. This challenge is based on 5 main tasks.
Difficulty: Medium
- Be born in Texas
- Wear glasses
- Join the Science Club
- Join the Dungeons and Dragons Club
- Become a computer programmer
Be born in Texas
To complete the “Be born in Texas” task in the Nerd Challenge in BitLife, you need to start a new life where your character’s birthplace is in Texas, USA. The easiest way is to use Custom Life when creating a new character: set the country to the United States and then pick a Texas city such as Houston, Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio.
Once you start the life with these settings, your character will be officially born in Texas and this task will be automatically marked as completed for the challenge.
Wear glasses
To complete the “Wear glasses” task in the Nerd Challenge in BitLife, you need your character to start using eyeglasses during childhood or school years. As you age up, you’ll sometimes get a pop-up about having trouble seeing or needing an eye exam. When this happens, either fail the vision test on purpose or accept the doctor’s suggestion to wear glasses.
Once your character is given glasses and starts wearing them, the requirement for this task will be fulfilled and it will turn green in the challenge list.
Join the Science Club
To complete the “Join the Science Club” task in the Nerd Challenge in BitLife, you need to be enrolled in middle school, high school, or university and then join the club from your school’s activities menu. Open your school, tap on “Activities” or “Clubs”, and look for the Science Club in the list. If you don’t see it, age up a year, change schools, or check again later until it appears.
Once the Science Club shows up, tap on it and select “Join”. After your character is accepted into the club, this task will be marked as completed in the challenge.
Join the Dungeons and Dragons Club
To complete the “Join the Dungeons and Dragons Club” task in the Nerd Challenge in BitLife, you need to be in middle school, high school, or university and access your school’s Activities/Clubs menu. Open your school, then look through the list of clubs for the Dungeons and Dragons Club. If it doesn’t appear right away, age up a year or switch schools and check again, as club options can change over time.
Once you see the Dungeons and Dragons Club, tap on it and choose “Join”. After your character successfully joins the club, this task will be marked as completed in the challenge.
Become a computer programmer
To complete the “Become a computer programmer” task in the Nerd Challenge in BitLife, you first need to finish high school and then enroll in university with a tech-related major such as Computer Science or a similar field. Study hard, keep your Smarts high, and graduate successfully. After university, go to Occupation → Jobs → Full-Time Jobs and look for the Computer Programmer position in the list. If it doesn’t appear right away, age up and refresh the job list each year until it shows.
Once you apply, pass the interview, and get hired as a computer programmer, this task will be completed in the challenge.
Conclusion
The Nerd Challenge in BitLife is all about living your smartest, geekiest life from start to finish. By being born in Texas, wearing glasses, joining the Science Club and Dungeons & Dragons Club, and finally becoming a computer programmer, your character follows a classic “nerd to success” story.
These tasks combine school life, hobbies, and a tech career, making the challenge both fun and relatable. Once you complete all the objectives, you not only earn a BitLife reward but also prove that brains, focus, and a little bit of nerdiness can lead to a perfect virtual life.
