Your goal is to build a rap career so big that your tours make millions and your records go platinum, all while dealing with the drama of friends who turn into enemies.

Be born in Los Angeles
To complete the first task of the Unlike Us Challenge, your character must be born in Los Angeles in BitLife.
When you start a new life:
- Choose Country: United States
- Choose City: Los Angeles
If Los Angeles doesn’t appear the first time, back out and start a new life until you see Los Angeles in the city list. You don’t have to worry about your gender or looks for this step—just make sure your birthplace is Los Angeles, USA, and your first task for the challenge will be done automatically.
Become a famous rapper
To complete the “Become a famous rapper” task in the Unlike Us Challenge, you need to turn your character’s music hobby into a full-time celebrity career.
In BitLife, start by going to the Occupations → Special Careers → Musician menu once your character is old enough. Choose the Singer career and then pick Rap as your genre if the option appears. Begin with small auditions for a record label.
If you get rejected, don’t give up—keep improving your Voice skill by going to Activities → Mind & Body → Voice Lessons every year (if you can afford it). Once a label finally signs you, release singles and albums regularly, do concerts and tours, and watch your fame bar grow. When your Fame bar is full and your career position says something like “Famous Rapper”, you’ll have completed this task for the challenge.
Turn a friend into an enemy
To finish the “Turn a friend into an enemy” task in the Unlike Us Challenge, you first need to have at least one friend in your relationships list. You can make friends at school, work, or activities by spending time with people and choosing “Befriend” when it appears.
Once you have a friend, start ruining the relationship on purpose:
- Use options like Insult, Argue, or Report to Principal/Boss (if possible).
- Flirt with their partner or do something rude to them.
- Keep doing negative actions every year.
After enough bad interactions, the friendship bar will drop and their status will change from Friend to Enemy, and this task will be completed.
Make $1M+ while going on tour
To complete the “Make $1M+ while going on tour” task in the Unlike Us Challenge, you first need to become a successful rapper with high fame. Start by getting signed to a record label as a rapper, then release multiple singles and albums to build your popularity.
Keep your Fame bar as high as possible by dropping good-quality albums and promoting them through things like interviews and social media. Once you’re popular enough, go to your Musician/Rapper occupation tab and choose the “Go on Tour” option. Select a big tour, such as a large or world tour if available.
After the tour ends, the game will show how much money you earned from that tour. If the total amount is $1,000,000 or more from that single tour, this task will be completed. If you earn less than $1M, keep improving your fame and try another tour later until you hit that million-dollar mark.
Have 3 or more records go platinum
To complete the “Have 3 or more records go platinum” task in the Unlike Us Challenge, you need to release music that becomes extremely successful. After becoming a rapper and signing with a record label, start releasing albums and singles regularly.
Each time you release one, check its performance over the years in your discography—BitLife will show how many copies it sold and whether it reached gold or platinum status. Focus on keeping your fame high, releasing music with good quality, and promoting your work with things like interviews, photoshoots, and social media so more people buy your records.
When three or more of your albums or singles are marked as platinum, this task will be completed for the challenge.
